The Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University, held the 61st Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, 29 October 2022. This activity took place at Radjawali SCC, Jl. Capt. Pierre Tendean no. 32, Semarang. This year, the 61st Anniversary of FK Undip has the theme “Together Knitting Hope to Build a Caring and Achieving Generation of a Nation”. The event began with remarks by the chairman of the committee, dr. Farmaditya Eka Putra, M.Si.Med., Ph.D. In his remarks, dr. Farmaditya said that the series of Dies Natalis events had started in August with devotional, scientific and artistic activities. Community service activities in the form of free cataract surgery, vaccination, counseling, and distribution of groceries to people in need in Semarang, Magelang and Tegal, as one of the visions of the Anniversary, namely Caring and Achievement.

The event continued with remarks from the Acting Mayor of Semarang, Ir. Hj. Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu, M.Sos. In his remarks, it is hoped that community service activities can be further encouraged, especially in the school environment with the target of Elementary School and Junior High School UKS. With the increase in Little Doctors, it is hoped that it can help facilitate health problems. Apart from that, it is hoped that the students of the Faculty of Medicine can also work in the city of Semarang, especially for the socialization of stunting, pregnant women, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Acute Kidney Disease, and Covid-19.

Furthermore, there was an entertainment program where various talents such as bands, vocals, poetry readings, and stand-up comedy from Diponegoro University Medical Faculty students appeared. The Radiology Study Program took part in enlivening this event with the appearance of the Enhance Band, who performed 2 songs, namely Sesaat Kau Hadir and Prahara Cinta. In this performance, the Enhance Band personnel wore Javanese traditional clothes. dr. Aulia Eksisi as the vocalist of the Enhance Band said that this year the Enhance Band wants to be different by wearing Javanese traditional clothes. Then the event ended with a performance from the Kotak Band.
